Skin1: DDF Products

I am trying a new skin product this week and it's one that I have been really wanting to try. Doctors Dermatologic Formula (DDF) is a cosmetic line of skin care, the first therapeutic skin care line to blend a traditional dermatological-based approach to skin care with holistic disciplines marine, herbology and botanicals. The resulting formulas offer skin care with unparalleled proven benefits, offering the most comprehensive range of preventative and restorative skin care solutions available without a prescription. From the line I ordered the sulfur mask. This mask is a clarifying treatment armed with the antiseptic properties of eucalyptus, the anti-inflammatory properties of aloe, and the absorbent power of purified clays. It is used to banish excess oil, minimize pores, and help prevent and heal blemishes with this weekly-use mask. It is an excellent solution for breakouts on the chest, back, and face, and multitasks as an overnight spot treatment. The potent blend of sulfur, eucalyptus oil, aloe vera gel, and bentonite and kaolin clays works to unclog pores, promote clarity, and regulate oiliness. I used it this morning and has a clean smell and did seem to soak up the oil.

I also purchased the Glycolic 10% Toning Complex and Wash. The toning complex promotes clarity and dermal vitality while minimizing the appearance of fine lines. This texture-refining blend visibly decreases pore size while improving overall skin condition. Glycolic Acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) helps to increase cellular turnover while Sodium PCA offers a natural moisturizing factor found in healthy skin. I also used this toner this morning and it really gave my face a feeling of freshness and didn’t seem to over dry it.
The Glycolic Wash is a combination of ultra pure glycolic acid and gentle foaming action for both the face and body. It exfoliates to remove dead skin cells that clog pores, impede moisturization, and make skin look dull and lifeless. DDF Glycolic Exfoliating Wash also reduces fine lines and wrinkles while softening the skin.
These products are not inexpensive they run about $30+ each. Skin1 and Sephora sells them online. I would say give them a try. After a few weeks of use I will inform you of my results.

Got Acne? Breakouts?

I don't have really bad acne but I do have persistent breakouts in my T-zone and every month before my cycle. I ordered this device called Tanda that is a hand-held device that helps treat acne by using safely using light therapy
Tanda

It practically and safely kills the bacteria that cause acne. I used on a blemish that I felt was starting to form. You know one of those knots that end of staying on your face for like 2 weeks. I used it late one evening and by the next day the redness and size of the bump had gone down significantly. You usually have to wait for that type of blemish to come to a head but after I used the Tanda device it just went away, which kept me from trying to pop it or touch my face altogether. This device is kind of expensive and I actually have been waiting for this device to go on sale or find it at a price I was willing to pay. I found mine around Christmas (2010) on ebay for $150, brand new. They usually run $250-$350 depending on where you get them. Sephora, a very reputable company that I use frequently, sells them on their website. You can also read more about it on their website. http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=Tanda&om_mmc=esv103203-GG&om_kwpur=106095875&ppc_crid=4989101177&sbanner=us_search&esvcid=S1295157476_ADOGOE_AGI1114963_CRE4989101177_TID106095875_RFDd3d3Lmdvb2dsZS5jb20%3d

I would do a search for the best price.
I LOVE THIS DEVICE!
Give it a try to put your best face forward!
